Identify bacteria directly on clinical sample

No more culturing! Mobidiag’s Prove-it™ Bone & Joint assay provides accurate DNA-based identification of over 60 bacteria and mecA resistance marker directly on clinical sample. The assay has been optimized for bone biopsies, tissues and synovial fluids. Nevertheless, being available for research use only, the customer may use it on other difficult sample material as well. Bacterial identification takes 3,5 hours using extracted DNA as starting material. Assay coverage has been enhanced since the first RUO release in 2010 to include Fusobacterium necrophorum and Moraxella catarrhalis.

Diagnose 7 herpesviruses in 1 test

Mobidiag offers multiplexed 2-hour assay for human herpesvirus identification. Prove-it™ Herpes is CE-IVD approved and identifies 7 herpesviruses in a single run: HSV1, HSV2, VZV, CMV, EBV, HHV6 and HHV7. Assay sensitivity is 93 % and specificity 99 % according to a multicentre study of analyzing almost 500 cerebrospinal fluid samples (2,3; manuscript submitted). In addition to CSF, our customers successfully use Prove-it™ Herpes on many other sample materials such as plasma, serum, BAL, eye, nasopharyngeal, tissue, amniotic fluid, urine and lesions.

Mobidiag is proud to present Prove-it™ StripArray system for automated result analysis. Prove-it™ StripArray system is suitable for all Prove-it™ assays. The system includes automated software guided detection, analysis and result reporting. Prove-it™ Advisor software is built on a huge sequence database and has been validated with thousands of clinical samples (1,2,3). All the analysis data becomes stored providing good traceability with various data sorting options.
